Warning: This post is going to completely trash Olivia Rodrigo, so you're a huge fan of hers, don't read this.
So, let’s talk about Olivia Rodrigo. Or as I like to call her: The Most Basic Pick-Me Girl Ever. Okay, let's get started. Now, I will admit I used to like Olivia. Hell, I loved the girl. She is amazing on High School Musical: The Musical: The Series as Nini. She’s an amazing singer. But as of lately she has become less annoying than Donald Trump but more annoying than Trisha Paytas aka Trisha Platypus. I use to not like her but I saw a TikTok the other day about her and now I fully hate her. Like, homegirl in my opinion has really lost her damn mind and honestly, I find it difficult that anyone could actually stan her. If you do that’s fine, just know that I don’t and probably never will until she gets her sh*t together. And to think all of this started over a song about driving...
Now, Olivia is annoying in my opinion because she has started unnecessary drama that didn’t need to be started in the first place. That whole Joshua and Sabrina thing? Olivia did too damn much, handled the situation absolutely poorly, and honestly, she a whole crazy, self-narcissistic, self-entitled asshat for that. Now I know that the song “Drivers License” was just her “expressing” the “heartbreak” she felt and that’s she’s entitled to feel that way, but homegirl did way too much. First off, changing the “brunette” to “blonde?” Really, girl? Really? You cannot sit there and tell me that this wasn’t her purposely trying to start something with Ms. Sabrina Carpenter. You cannot tell me this wasn’t an up-in-coming princess trying to pick a fight with a queen.
Second off, Olivia most definitely knew that her song was going to cause all kinds of drama in the internet world. And that a lot of it would be pointed directly at Joshua and Sabrina and that they would automatically become the bad guys in the situation. Because that’s literally what she did. She had the entire world looking at them like they were the monsters. This heifer had the entire world eating out of the palm of her hand like a bunch of hungry dogs and they were doing it willingly. WTF? Okay, big deal Joshua “broke her heart,” at this point, this is all I have to say on that matter: Oh, effing well. Get over it. Move on. Trust me, with the way you give off a “Pick-Me” girl vibes in this damn song, you are in for many heart breaks and you will probably bring majority of them onto yourself and I couldn’t feel less sorry for you.
Third, one of the reasons she handled this whole situation horribly is because she just sat back and let her fans just completely rip into those two. I have seen them both be called the most horrible things, I've read the nasty things that people have been saying about them on Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, YouTube, etc. And what was she doing during all of this? Hm? Anyone want to guess? Oh, she was just kicking back and gushing over how everyone was loving her first ever solo-from-Disney song and how it was topping the billboards! Meanwhile, Joshua’s being called a playboy, a worthless scum who deserves to be single the rest of his life and to maybe even kill himself. Sabrina’s being called a home-wrecking b*tch, wh*re, sl*t, tramp, skank, man-stealer, blonde bimbo who needs to down a whole bottle of bleach and leave this world. And all of this because little Miss Cry Teen 2020 had her feelings hurt? Oh my God. This proved that people are sheep who believe only one person and that’s it. Cause God forbid, God forbid that there may be more to the story. God forbid we hear Joshua and Sabrina’s side. No, let’s just cancel them and comfort little Miss Brokenhearted Rodrigo cause she’s clearly the victim in all of this.
Now, you can try and say that Olivia didn’t know that this would happen or go this far, but you are clearly lying to yourself. There's no way she could not have predicted what type of drama might go down. Again, changing “brunette” to “blonde.” And even if she had a feeling that this would all spiral out of control, she could’ve done a whole lot more to make sure that this didn’t happen. Hell, she could’ve gotten in contact with Sabrina and/or Josh to talk about what was going on and see if they were okay. And before some you say that maybe she did and that it’s none of our business, she made it our business when she released this song. But she didn’t. She let it all play out and raked in the clout she got from it all. Huh, making bank and fame at the expense and misery of others. Maybe she really is a pop-star celebrity.
People were saying that many singers have written songs about their past relationships. And? And? Okay, and? Did they cause a wave of hatred to flow? Answer fast. This girl clearly can’t accept the fact that someone didn’t want her and now she’s making it everyone else’s problem. She literally dragged Joshua through the mud and do you think that she cares? No. And a lot of people want to get mad at Sabrina for making the song “Skins,”(which I think is better) talking about how it’s stupid, how she shouldn’t be trying invalidate Olivia’s feelings, not to mention whole “Not a literally adult coming after a minor.” Babes, Olivia brought this on herself. Since she wants to act like an adult and cause adult situations, then she is going to be treated like a damn adult. So if she needs to be dragged like an adult then that’s what’s gonna happen. I’m actually glad she’s 18 now so people can stop using the whole “minor” excuse. Plus, I can say all this and not have to worry about anyone trying to cancel me. Also, where the hell was all this “minor” stuff when she was still underage and y’all wanted Joshua to get back with her? People were all like “Oh, just wait for her to turn 18!” Y’all really wanted this man in prison, didn’t you? You really wanted him to catch a case over 17 year-old. At this point, just say you don’t like Joshua and leave. Cause it’s hard to believe that you don’t like him but yet you seem to want to see him behind bars. This man already experiences enough stupid and unnecessary hate as it is, he doesn’t need anymore.
Sabrina had every right to release that song. Again, an up-in-coming princess doesn’t not come for a queen unless SHE IS CALLED FOR!!!! Did you all really think she was just going to sit back and let Olivia and crazy stans walk all over her? Sabrina’s been in this business longer than both Joshua and Olivia and she is not no punk. All these people out here saying “What about Olivia’s feelings!?” Screw those feelings! She’s going to use them to make a couple songs that people are going to see as the very apex of music history but won’t realize that they are so far up this heifers ass, that they shouldn’t be able to breathe.
So, my dear sweet readers, this has just been my thoughts on little Miss Olivia Rodrigo. If you agree with my thoughts and opinions feel free to comment down below. If you are some how offended by this post or you’re a part of the “Defend Olivia At All Cost Squad” please know that you can say whatever hurtful things you want to me, I will just laugh knowing I got under your skin (catch the reference?) and block/report you. Thank you for reading and I’ll catch you with the next post. Bye!
P.S. if Joshua actually gay, then this whole song and everything else is invalidated, because he would have to choose someone else over eventually. Just saying.
