Gen-Z. Don’t Mess With Us. Period.

Hello readers and welcome back to my blog! Today’s post is going to be a little shorter (all depends) but I felt like it should be said. This post is about my generation. In other words Gen-Z. Now I will admit that we may not be the smartest or most sane generation but it can be confirmed that we get our Sugar Honey Ice Tea done. We are out here in these streets always wanting to and willing to make a difference. Because we believe in change. We believe that the world could a better place. And I’m not talking about that “Make America Great Again” type BS. That phrase is literally problematic cause if you ask me, it implies that all the progressive change that we have made in the last 100 or so years has somehow made America less “great” and that the old days of ignorance, hate, racism, LGBT-phobia, sexism, etc. were somehow okay. Now if the Orange Cheeto had said “Let’s make America even more great” he may have gotten somewhere with us. Actually…that’s a lie. We still would’ve have hated him. But back to what I was talking about before, we the members of Gen-Z have been underestimated. Seen as trivial and underachievers, selfish, lazy, crazy, and even stupid. Now, notice how majority of the people who think that are adults who probably need to check themselves before they try to even to step to us. Seeing as though we’re only fixing (or at least trying to) the problems they failed to fix or even for that matter the problems that they themselves caused. Sins of the father meet sins of the xennials/millennials. Ironic isn’t it? That we all have to suffer from old failure? I really love the Disney Descendants film series as well as the Disney Zombies film series. All of them kind of follow the theme of parents/adults messing things up and the next generation having to come in and fix everything. Sound familiar? Now, I’m not saying all the adults have screwed us over. Some of them did their best to make it possible for us to have a better life but the craziness of the world made it impossible for them to succeed. And that ladies and gentlemen, is where we come in. I don’t ever want to hear anyone trash Gen-Z just because they (the previous generation) are too cowardly to actually get off their lazy butts and actually make progressive/open-minded change in this world and not just sit back and let this world go back to the dark days. Previous gen, I’m speaking directly to you now. Gen-Z are not people you want to mess with because trust me we are the type of people that if you eff with us, it will be bad. We will destroy you. The last thing you will ever learn before you leave this earth and go on into the after life is just how hardcore we can be especially if you cross us. There will be no mercy, no surrender. When someone knocks us down, we don’t retreat. We reload. So in closing, if you want us to actually have the tiniest bit of respect for you, or even consider you worthy of our time, show us a little respect first. Try to have our backs. Because remember, we didn’t cause these problems. They were here when we got here. We didn’t start this war, but we will end it. And again, trust me when I say this:

                          There will be blood.

Ok, Can We Please Talk About Cal Jacobs From "Euphoria?"

Sweet Jesus, I'm so happy that I got into the show Euphoria when I did because this show is hitting different in ways I never thought possible. Now, you should know that I love me a good backstory for a character, particularly the sort of "villain/bad person" characters. So when episode three of Euphoria season 2 came out, the first 20 or so minutes literally had me broken. I never thought these words would leave my lips but oh my God, I feel bad for Cal. Now, before y'all go off and start canceling me let me just say this: I'm not stanning Cal, nor do I think that what happened to him in his past makes up for what he has done now in the present, but I'm kind of looking at this from a so...

New City, New Killer! Scream 6 Review

After seeing Scream 6 a second time, I can give my overall thoughts on the film. It is probably my new favorite out of all the Scream films, a spot initially held by Scream 5. This new movie was absolutely nuts, but that's what made it enjoyable. The characters were pretty good. The Core Four was satisfying in every scene they were in, the breakouts being once again Sam and Tara. The new people were okay and bearable, but Gale continued to steal every scene and bring badass energy (though I didn't like how they backtracked her character development from previous films for the first half of the film). My favorite from the film was Tara. And Kirby's return? *Chef's kiss* I almost cried when I thought she had died in Scream 4, but because the film gods are good, they brought her back for another round! I love the change of scenery from the small town of Woodsboro to New York City. Having the characters fight Ghostface in a city known for crazy crime and f...

Scream (2022) Review: What's Your Favorite Scary Movie?

What's your favorite scary movie?     Well, I can definitely tell you mine's definitely rising to be Scream (2022) ! The addition to the highly popular meta horror movie series brings together old previous heroes and fresh faces as we are taken back to the town of Woodsboro as the infamous Ghostface returns to strike terror and fear into folks once again. Set 10 or 11 years after the events of Scream 4 , 25-year-old Samantha Carpenter returns to her hometown of Woodsboro where her past comes back to haunt her as a new Ghostface makes her his new target. Now she must get the help the old survivors in order to stop the new killer.      This film, like the ones that became before, uses a certain movie theme that they base everything around. The first movie basing everything off scary movies, the second movie basing everything off of sequels, the third basing everything off of trilogies, and the fourth basing everything off of remakes. Thi...
